I just bought and read the book(SoS) today.
Wow!
It's a really awsome idea for a magic-manga!  I think it's great and I can't wait to see #2. ^_^ |

I bought it at Coles.
Just wondering, because I'm trying to make a manga myself , how did you get those backgrounds and ink the pages o.o  Well, I mean like, (total noob-ish question) like the way its colored in different dot-patterns? It's really cool and I'd like to figure out how.

I'm lucky enough to have a Wacom tablet (Intuos 2) www.wacom.com which is what I use along with Adobe Illustrator to ink all the pages digitally.
As for the 'dot-patterns' or tones, as they are usually called, I apply with a program called Deleter's Comic Works. |

I bought a copy of SoS yesterday, and i think it's awesome! I'm very impressed indeed. The free poster that came with it was a nice extra bonus too!
