Send any questions/comments to mcc@ztarr.net. I'm a member, how come I'm not on the Members Page? I want to join, but I'm on a different server. What level do I have to be to join? MCC (Magic Cooking Club) is a linkshell for cooks on the Remora server. The Goal of MCC is to provide a support group for cooks, to share ideas and knowlege, to help cooks of lower levels, and to provide a craft-specific linkshell to equip while leveling your craft. MCC provides a helpful environment for leveling your cooking craft, and gathers together cooks of all levels in order to share knowlege and experience. MCC members help each other out! It's also nice to have a craft-specific LS to chat in while crafting or leveling your cooking skill. Visit the Join MCC page, or locate a MCC Member. I'm a member, how come I'm not on the members page? If you want to be listed on the members page, send your character information to mcc@ztarr.net and a screenshot of yourself. I want to join, but I'm on a different server? Currently, there is only a MCC linkshell on Remora server. If you'd like to start your own Magic Cooking Club on your server, contact the MCC founder, Ztarr. What level do you have to be to join? There are no level requirements to join. Cooks of all levels are welcome. Have fun, respect others, and follow the FFXI/Playonline rules. Regional Vendors are your friends! They are one of the cheapest ways to get your ingredients. Regional vendors can be found in towns, but will only have products from Regions that are under that town's control (e.i: Selbina Milk is from the Zulkiem region, so if Bastok controls that region, you can purchase it from a vendor in Bastok.) For a list of Regional Vendors, visit the Regional Vendors pages. I'm not a Cook, Can I still Join? MCC is not a general linkshell, it is a craft specific LS. There would be no reason to join unless you are interested in cooking and leveling your crafting skill. Though MCC is here to help out everyone, please do not abuse the help of others. If someone is out farming ingredients and wants to farm some for other members, that arrangement must be made with the individual. They are under no obligatino to farm for you, and can certainly request reasonable compensation for their services. Members are encouraged to sell ingredients to other members at a lower price, or to give unwanted ingredients to other members, but this is only encouraged, and not enforced. Can I get free Ingredients from you? You do not get free ingredients or crystals for joining. Members are encouraged to give discounts to other members, but are not required to. |
