It was a great con and fun was had by all. This was also the first con that Ztarr Manga Studio attended with a booth in the dealers room (the studio was at the CN Anime Expo in August, but was there giving away free posters). This time, we were giving away free posters as well, but with the purchase of Secrets of Sorcerers Volume 1. The graphic novel did very well, and SEM actually met a few people who were already SoS webmanga readers. Wow!

Thanks to all you came and mooched some FREE CANDY, and especially to those who stuck around and bought a book!

I'm most familiar with Letraset for their extensive professional marker collections. They have recently come out with two manga specific marker collections, a Shonen set and a Shojo set. They also deal in many other creative resources, including manga tones.

The freebies are to promote the upcoming release of the volume 1 Secrets of Sorcerers graphic novel. The convention was a whole lot of fun for everyone. We brought thousands of posters but couldn't roll them up fast enough to keep up with the amount of people. Unfortunately there were only about 300 Mini-Manga to give away...and they went fast... to about 300 lucky people in line on Saturday. Hopefully, next year, Ztarr Manga will have a booth at the 2006 summer conventions like Anime North and the CN Anime Expo.

The current webmanga version will continue in its same format.
